Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
This policy describes how Code Burg Technologies ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We have tried to keep it short and specific rather than comprehensive and vague.
1. What we collect
This is a static website. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising scripts, and does not build a profile of you as you browse. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us:
- Contact form submissions — your name, business name, phone number and the service you are enquiring about. Only what you type into the form is sent.
- Direct messages — if you email, call or message us, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and refer back to it.
- Server logs — our web server records standard request information such as IP address, timestamp and page requested. This is used for security and diagnosing faults.
2. What we do with it
We use it to reply to you, prepare a quote, and deliver work you have engaged us for. That is all. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Who else can see it
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and receive enquiries — hosting, email, and the form submission service. They process data on our behalf and only for that purpose. We do not transfer your information to anyone else unless we are legally required to.
4. Client project data
If you engage us for a project, we may need access to your systems, accounts or data to do the work. That access is governed by the written agreement for that project, not by this policy. We use it only for the agreed work, and we hand back or remove credentials at the end of an engagement.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a realistic prospect of working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records connected to actual engagements are kept as long as we need them for contractual, accounting and legal reasons. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required to retain it.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you send us.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@codeburgtech.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for its practices. It is worth reading them.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear rather than slipped in quietly.
11. Contact
